Dear all,

A very warm welcome to the 4^th issue of ILJ for 2012.

This issue has wonderful and informative articles to read and explore diverse areas of law ranging from a pertinent Singapore High Court ruling, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development, FDI in the Indian pharma sector, speedy trial- a key solution to prevent delay in administering justice, compulsory licensing of copyrights and a detailed analysis of the Copyright (Amendment) Bill, 2012.

The interview of the month deals with setting up and growth of Advani & Co., a premier law firm in India while the book review is indeed a very interesting one written by one of India’s former top law officers describing his three year tenure as Additional Solicitor General for India.
